Commission a Pet Portrait

Capture the spirit of your companion in a one-of-a-kind original artwork. 

1. Choose Your Style & Size

I work in two distinct mediums to best capture your pet’s character. Whether you prefer the fine, lifelike detail of colored pencil or the soft, expressive flow of watercolor, each piece is hand-painted/drawn with love.

Additional Pets: Want the whole pack included? Each additional pet in the same portrait is an extra $50. 

2. The Process

To get started, please email me at mae1startist@gmail.com with the following:

• The Photos: At least three clear photos that capture your pet's true personality.

  • Tip: Try to avoid "downward angle" shots, as these can distort your pet's natural proportions! Eye-level is best.

• The Details: Your preferred medium (Watercolor or Colored Pencil) and your chosen size.

3. Payment & Delivery

• Deposit: A $50 deposit is required to begin your artwork. This is handled securely via a Square invoice.

• Approval: The remaining balance is only due once you have seen and approved the finished piece.  Final balance is also handled via a Square invoice.

• What's Included: Every portrait comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

• Shipping: I offer free shipping on all portraits. If you are local to the Columbus area, I am also happy to hand-deliver your piece!

Please note: All artwork is delivered unmatted and unframed to allow you to choose a style that fits your home perfectly.  I recommend 5x7, 8x10 or 11x14 for the easiest framing experience as standard frames for these sizes are easy to find in most stores.  9x12 is a beautiful 'in-between' if you have a specific spot in mind!
