Pen & Ink and Drawing

Drawing was my first artistic love, and it's what I focused on during college. Like many artists, I've been sketching and doodling since I could hold a pencil. It felt completely natural to transition from drawing into pen & ink, given their similar qualities. I'm especially drawn to how you can build incredible shadows and texture using techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling.
