I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and jumped straight into teaching at Art Garden Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. I loved teaching at Art Garden and was able to work with all age groups and in a lot of mediums, including water color, pen and ink, oil pastel, chalk pastel, acrylic and oil paint, as well as basic drawing. After spending 12 years helping students grow as artists, I decided in August of 2022 that it was time to focus on my own artistic growth. 

Since leaving, I have been able to focusing on learning stained glass and growing my watercolor and color pencil techniques.  If you're interested in seeing some of my work, check out my portfolio by clicking on the link at the top of the page.  These days, I mainly do commission work and sell stained glass pieces with my etsy shop.  I would love to talk to you if you are interested in getting any commission pieces made for yourself or a special someone, as art makes a great gift or statement piece in any home.
